Bellinghome Rockbands will perform on 13 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at Sunnyland Elementary School.

Our annual spring recital will be from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at the FireHouse Arts & Events Center.

5.31.2019 – Happy Valley Spring Fling

Bellinghome’s ukulele group, The Ukeladies, and our Rockband, Cash and the Spare Change, will perform at Happy Valley Elementary School from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

Student Rockbands Rocked Ski to Sea Block Party.

Two of Bellinghome’s Rockbands will perform at the block party on May 26. Cash and the Spare Change will perform at 1:30 pm, and The Green Frogs will perform at 3:00 pm.

Winter Recital

We are very pleased that we had over 50 performers at the 2019 Winter Recital! We had individual, student/teacher duets, our ukulele group and four student rock bands perform this past February at Sylvia Center for the Arts. Check out the recap video below.

Christmas Caroling at Bellingham Christmas Tree Lighting

We are excited to be asked back to lead Christmas Carols during the Christmas tree lighting on December 1st downtown Bellingham!

Will Bernard Masterclass was a success!

Will Bernard as he shared insights into his compositions, bandleading, accompaniment and guitar mastery.

Will Bernard is one of New York City’s top jazz and funk guitarists and has been nominated for a number of Grammys. He has worked with Don Cherry, Tom Waits, Ben Sidran, Charlie Hunter, Dr. Lonnie Smith Medeski/Martin/Wood, Dr. John, Ben Allison, Jai Uttal and many others.

2018 Commercial Street Night Market Performances:

Our Kids Rockband class featuring The Green Frogs and also Cash and the Spare change have been honing in their skills with several months of rehearsal and both with a few performances under their belt.  Their next performance opportunity comes on May 18th (Cash and the Spare Change) and June 15th (The Green Frogs) at the Commercial Street Night Market under the main performance tent here in downtown Bellingham.  These night markets and events like downtown sounds are put on by our friends at the Downtown Bellingham Partnership.  Check them out and all the amazing things they’re doing for our community!

Also those evenings there will be busking opportunities at the market at the Bellinghome tent.  Stop by the front desk for more information on how to participate in that! Here are some photos from our last busking event.

Kids Bands chosen to represent for Whats Up Magazine’s 20th Year Anniversary:

The Bellinghome Rockbands (The Green Frogs and Cash and The Spare Change) along with Bellingham’s very talented

2018 Winter recital at the Majestic was a hit!

We had over 40 performers, which included individual and instructor performances, and our two rockbands “The Green Frogs” and “Cash and the Spare Change” .  Check out some photos and videos here!  We will be having the next recital this coming June.  Also there will be several performance opportunities this spring and summer, including busking at the commercial night street markets, and Saturday farmers markets.  Stay tuned here and on our facebook page for announcements!  Thanks again to Alborz for letting us to use his beautiful space!
