I am a singing actor/voice instructor currently living here in Beautiful Bellingham Washington. I have had the good fortune of working and learning from exceptional individuals nationwide, from the Eastman School of Music, the BUTI Tanglewood Institute, and most recently the Western Washington University Music School where I received my degree in Vocal Performance. Some of my favorite roles I’ve had the privilege of playing include: Fred Graham in Kiss Me Kate, Carl Magnus in A Little Night Music, Guglielmo in Cosi Fan Tutte and Dr. Neville Craven in The Secret Garden. A huge part of my teaching revolves around healthy singing and the bel canto technique (which is a fancy way of saying Beautiful singing!). This only means that whatever type of music you are passionate about singing, you will be able to do it with efficiency without sacrificing the integrity of your instrument. I have always believed that we should never stop becoming more than what we are now, which is why I think music and the arts are such an incredible investment in yourself. you can study them for a lifetime and no matter how challenging it is, the fulfillment that you’ll feel will never stop growing. I believe there is no wrong age or time to start, and the most important part is just to begin, and once you do, DON’T Stop. It is my privilege to teach you and help you along on your journey of music wherever it may take you.
