He has also been a guest artist at summer camps and clinics aimed at teaching children music. This included choir camps, world music camps, and various guitar related functions. He taught at Guitar Center and independently where he primarily taught children and young adults.

His approach to the guitar is detailed and meticulous. He spent his early years learning and refining a large variety of guitar techniques in the pursuit of finding the ideal way to play guitar freely. He also places a large emphasis on teaching people how to get a good sound from there instrument in regards to touch. These things are the gateway to relaxed and consistent playing in his eyes.

At the core of everything Miles believes everyone has something special within them artistically regardless of experience level. Often they just need some guidance to begin accessing it. He aims to help as many people as possible reach their highest potential.
