    Bio

A Bellingham native, Brooke first discovered an interest in singing in her middle school choir. Then, competing in Solo & Ensemble, she collected multiple regional and state superior ratings, eventually winning the Washington State first place award for her vocal category.

After some time as a radio Disc Jockey and Voice Over Artist, Brooke returned to Western Washington University. She earned an interdisciplinary degree focused in vocal performance and public relations with a concentration on stage performance. Brooke has worked with individual artists and bands as well as music festivals and independent music venues. Her experience ranges from classical and contemporary vocal performance to artist development and engagement.

Brooke has been recorded on both international and local artists’ albums. She has performed in classical concert halls to panels of judges, sang to Sunday church goers, performed at outdoor music festivals and in venues all over the west coast.

    Influences

Brooke was first inspired to pursue music by her mother, who was also a vocal artist. Brooke developed a wide range of musical interests ranging from classical to singer songwriter to blues and country to hard rock. Her favorite singers include: Nina Simone, Sharon Jones, Cecilia Bartoli, Stevie Nicks and Cher among many, many others.

    Current Projects

Brooke, while residing in Bellingham, is currently recording her original music in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to COVID-19, Brooke was retained as a staff soloist for a local church and also performed regularly providing backing and accent vocals for a rock band as well as various recording projects.
