Benefits of Vocal Study:

There are so many benefits of vocal study that goes above and beyond becoming a well refined singer and musician. Vocal lessons help you, as a singer, achieve a finer grasp of a musical style, focus, proper articulation, performance techniques, and delivery. You will learn how to use proper breath support, increase vocal range, and how to project your voice. Aside from the musical benefits, vocal study is also beneficial for your health. It relieves stress, stimulates the immune response, improves lung function and speaking abilities, improves mental health and your mood, and lowers blood pressure and anxiety. Singing also causes your body to release endorphins. A hormone that promotes positive feelings and changes your perception of pain. If these benefits appeal to you, you should consider vocal study.

Influences:

Rowan was inspired to pursue music by her school music/choir teacher. She showed Rowan how powerful the study of music is and the sense of community you gain while being in a choir. Rowan hopes to influence her students the same way that her music teacher did for her.
